| I normally measure for each serving until I come up with the number of servings it said

| Hadn't tried weighing it ... but my food scale is really geared more for single or small servings (old WW scale) .. guess I'm stuck with cupping it into a tureen.

| I either weigh the entire recipe and divide by number of servings, or get a big bowl and measure it out with measuring cups (BEFORE anyone helps themselves). It's a pain, though--but it's really only a problem for large quantities of food that's cooked in a pot (a casserole dish, for example, is easy to divide with the eye). Another thing that might be possible (depending on how many people you're feeding) would be to reduce the recipe--if it serves 8, half the recipe and make 4 servings. That at least makes it more manageable.

| So often the recipes are created in a large pot, then the recipe just says 10 servings. Do you measure the whole thing out ... I haven't found anything very satisfactory for determining the serving size. HELP I've tried counting when serving but if someone goes to help themselves my count is going to be off. HELP HELP Wish there was a place to put this info when creating .. that would be a good reminder to include the information.
