I actually use soy mayo when I make egg salad and it's not bad. If you don't like the fat free/reduced fat stuff then use what you like. Make sure you cut back in another area when you use your mayo.
Read the labels and compare the next time to see if it is worth it to use the fat free or reduced fat products. I have not noticed that in some cases like with Peanut Butter there isn't much of a difference.

| Hellman's canola mayo tastes just like regular and has only 45 calories per tablespoon.

If this is for a sandwich, what about having cheese instead of mayo? Or roasted red pepper for extra flavor?
Personally, I use the light mayo or spicy brown mustard. I haven't tried this for mayo, but could you mix a little regular mayo with RF or FF to try to fool your tastebuds? I do this with cream cheese & it helps.

| I asked the same question a while ago. The best answer I got was hummus or mustard.

Does anyone have a sub for mayo?
Just wondering. I don't like the light or fat free.
I saw Dijonaise is not a bad substitute. And I like mustard.
Any suggestions?
