Almond Breeze is a brand of almond milk, analogous to Silk brand soymilk, if you will. An 8 oz cup of Almond Breeze vanilla or original flavor is only 40 calories if you get the unsweetened version, and the chocolate unsweetened has about 45 I think. You can get it at Whole Foods and some Trader Joe's.

Mmmmmm I love pumpkin!!! This sounds wonderful, will definitely have to try, thanks for the heads up on the soy milk substitution because I've never heard of the other item :)

Oh this sounds great!!!
Can I post this in my column in my school newspaper credit to you and SparksPeople!
I have a column there Cooking with Brenda and it is hard now that I am dieting ƒ¼
They want good yummy desserts!!! Especially with the Holiday coming.

Delicious, easy, quick pudding-ish dessert that will satisfy your pumpkin pie cravings:

* One half cup of pure pumpkin (40 cals)
* 2 ounces (1/4 cup) UNSWEETENED almond breeze
vanilla (10 cals)
* 1/2 tbsp cinnamon (or to taste)(10 cals)
* Stevia to taste (or Splenda, etc.)

Just mix all the ingredients together in a bowl, pop in the microwave for about 2 minutes, stir it up and ENJOY!


Note: If you don't have Almond Breeze, you can sub soymilk/milk, but adjust calories accordingly.
