20 Minute Pasta Sauce
Ingredients:1 onion, chopped 6 cloves garlic, minced 1 tablespoon olive oil 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, minced 1 can (28 oz.) pear-shaped Tomatoes 1/2 cup dry red wine 1/2 teaspoon hot chili flakes
Instructions:1. Sauté onion and garlic in oil 5 minutes over medium-high heat. 2. Stir basil, tomatoes, wine and chili flakes to onion and garlic and let boil 10 minutes, stirring often to break up tomatoes. Once you have this recipe down, try adding extra flavors such as sun-dried Tomatoes or roasted red peppers.
