I ran into the same problem. I cook mostly Mexican food, and its not always the lowest in fat, etc... What I have been doing is entering all of the ingredient's into the recipe calculator in sparkrecipe.com it will give you the break down in calories, fat per serving. Then I just add the information into my favorite food in Sparks.

| I end up having to manually a lot of foods to the tracker myself, as being in Australia a lot of the foods are different. I use the website calorieking.com.au to get nutritional information - I believe there is also a calorieking.com for other countries.

| I adore Indian cuisine. I consider it very healthy because I don't use ghee or even very much oil. I use Pam in the frying pan and fat free yogurt. I find the flavors to be very satisfying. Korma is high calorie with the cream, but I'll make a low cal version with ff yogurt to enjoy the pungent spices. I'm new on this site and am amazed at the amount of help there is here. Have you searched the recipes? If you use a key word like tikka, marsala, saag you will find several recipes. I just posted one for chicken tikka saag. I'll add slowly to stockpile. I find the process time-consuming in creating a recipe so haven't done too many. I wanted to post one for tikka spice but couldn't find all the ingredients to add to the page.

| If the items are not listed in the food tracker but you have the nutritional info for them, you can manually enter that into the tracker using the add a food button.

| I was wanting to know how can I track the calories that are consumed from my diet. I eat Indian food (well food from Pakistan) on a daily basis but I have no clue how to track my calories to get a better understanding about my weight loss. Exercise is not an issue but if you have made Indian food then you know it is filled with potential hazzards when it comes to dieting (portion control, oils, fried food). Please any help would be a lot of help!
