A 4 oz piece of salmon, a cup of veggies, and a cup of rice or couscous. Cook a few meals and put them in freezer containers and take them to work throughout the week.

There are three different kinds of carbs:
* sticky carbs (breads, rice, lentils, beans, pastas, potatoes, etc)
* fibrous carbs (vegetables)
* simple carbs (fruits)

For the best dieting results, don't eat a sticky or a simple carb after 3p because typically a person is less active after that hour, so they have trouble burning off the more calorie intensive carbs out there.

I have been doing the wrap type thing too. Depending how many calories you need you can make it as big or little as you want. I usually use a huge tortilla and eat 2/3 for lunch, 1/3 for a snack. I am in college and on campus for 12 hours a day. I have access to a fridge and a microwave.

1 whole wheat tortilla (low-carb if you want)
2 or 3 ounces grilled chicken (I spiced it up with some organic poultry spice rub from costco)
black beans
brown rice
Lettuce
Onion
Salsa
a sprinkle of cheese.

I put all of the inside of the burrito in a ziplock bag and when im ready to eat microwave it, only then do i put it in the tortilla. It has a ton of protein and a good amount of fiber.

I like to use La Tortilla Factory Low Carb/ Low Fat Tortillas they are 80 Calories, 3 grams of fat, and 14 grams of Fiber.. I make a wrap with them adding chicken, beef, turkey (any kind of protein) with shredded lettuce, tomato, Onion, and salsa.. Sometimes, I mix about 1 Tbs of Low Fat or Fat Free Sour Cream with garlic Salt, Lime Juice to make a dressing, and spread it over the tortilla before I add the other ingrediantes.

I like to bring a salad to work with a ton of vegetables, leftover grilled chicken, and a hard boiled egg cut up into it for protein, along with some yogurt. I get fat free dressing and I bought one of those little travel shampoo squeeze bottles to take salad dressing back and forth.

For me, eating beans is my sure-fire way to get protien and fiber. Try half a can of organic refried beans, some leftover grilled chicken, and a sprinkle of low fat cheese. Top with your favorite salsa and you have a yummy high fiber/protein meal!
