I finally invested in a little kitchen scale, and it's really worth it! Most of them let you put a dish or bowl on and then re-set it to zero, then it weighs just the food.

Also, usually calories for chicken assume it's already cooked. You'll find that the cooked weight is less than the raw weight, I think.

If you are certain that they are 4oz total per chicken breast, then yes, cutting one in half would give you 2 oz.

ok when i buy my chicken its bonless skinless breats sometimes comes 3 or 4 in a pack depends on which i buy but i have 3 3 chicken breats and there 4 oz each but i dont cook them like whole i slice then in half...so that would be 2 oz or not?....im bad at math
