Well if anyone is interested I submitted my recipe for my wicked salad that uses spinach. I wrote it up kind of goofy but I wasn't able to put in a bag of this or a handful of that, so the computer program wrote it up and it came out that way, you might like it, in the Sparks recipe, sincerely, jonniesgurl.

If you have a Farmer's Market anywhere near you that is going to be your best bet. I just love going to the one here ....... I can choose from a fresh variety of vegetables.

We've been reduced to Wal-mart and Winn Dixie. Lost our local veggie stand to Hurricane Katrina.

Does anybody find curly-leaf spinach anymore in their supermarket? The kind of spinach that ya had to rinse really well to get the sand off of.

Have you tried looking at a farmer's market or veggie stand?

Whatever happened to the full-leaf, fluffy sort of spinach I had as a child? I love spinach, but this flat baby spinach available at the grocery store is awful to cook with and it sticks together in salads. Do I have to grow my own spinach in my backyard?
