| They should be done in less than half an hour!

| If the cutlets were cooked for 2 hours in the oven there is no way the could have been raw still! I pan cook mine, just like pork and beef cutlets with a light spray of Pam, they dont take more than 20 minutes.

I agree with Peanelope. Get an instant read meat thermometer. I have one and I use it all them. I feel so much better knowing that I'm not going to give my family food poisioning because the meat was under cooked. I even take it camping because of the peace of mind. I hate to through food away and this ensures that my food is completely cooked. I think I paid about $10 for mine at the grocery store after my last one died.

| If you're concerned about it, get an inexpensive instant-read meat thermometer. Then you don't have to guess :)

| They are boneless cutlets, about 1/2 inch thick. Maybe they are supposed to look a little pink? They look white on the outside but when I cut them open they are pink. That sounds undercooked, doesn't it? I just don't understand how when I cut them open the first time they were white, and the cut is still white- even in the center- but everywhere else is pink. Weird.

| I'm not specifically sure on turkey cutlets as I've never cooked them - are they on the bone? I also know that thanksgiving turkey can look pink.

Hi all! I'm having trouble with my turkey cutlet! This is the second time I've thrown the batch away because I was worried it wasn't cooked enough.
I have been cooking them in the oven, next to my chicken breasts (in separate pans) at 275 degrees for two hours. The chicken breasts were cooked (they are twice the thickness as the turkey cutlets) so I assumed the turkey cutlets were done too. I cut them open and they were white. Perfect, right? I checked all three cutlets and they were all white.
I was going to have the turkey for lunch and it was pink in the middle, all over actually. It was white all the way through only in the place I cut open the other night. What's going on? Is this normal? Would it be white if it wasn't done?
Thanks for your opinions!
