| I buy bags of baking raisins from costco and love them frozen!

| Also, the dreaded prunes (now called Dried Plums) are available in individually wrapped portions. It's more expensive, but considering they dry out/go bad so much faster in a box, I figure I am saving money by not overeating, and by having a convenience of keeping them in my desk drawer, purse, and know that they will stay fresher. A nice sweet healthy punch in the day!

| Dole has a box of variety pouchesof mixed dried fruit....Berry Medley(blueberries, cherries, cranberries), dried pineapple & mangoes, and other fruits. It's nice that there are varieties in the box, and each pouch is 80 to 100 calories, lots of fiber..not too sweet. Yummy. Different mixes in one box so no burnout factor.

I actually hate those raisins too. But I discovered that if I get the BAKING raisins, they're BETTER! They're much more plump and juicy. If I eat rasins, they're the only ones I eat.
But for other options, what about bags of granola or trail mix? There are lots of great ones out there, and you can make your own too.
Just watch the sugar content - some are really healthy with healthy sugars, but some are super-laden with table sugars or high fructose corn syrup.
For dried fruits, just watch out for sulfites. There are a lot of nasty chemicals used in dried fruits. Not all of the brands have those chemicals, just read the labels.
Oh, nuts and seeds are great. I pre-measure them into snack size zip top bags, 1 oz per bag, so I know how much I'm eating.
I love snacking on raw almonds, walnuts, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, pumpkin seeds, and sunflower seeds.
Sprouted, they're even tastier. It's easy - let me know if you're interested in learning how to do that.
Yes, yes, they definitely have some fats - but we need fats in our body and they're high in other macro and micro nutrients our bodies need. I also have been reading that people who eat 1 or 2 oz of nuts or seeds a day tend to take in less calories overall than people who don't.

| My opinion on the 100 cal packs are they are expensive, if its something not made different the buy a big bag, measure yourself and put in baggies. I hide stuff from myself, I know it sounds strange but if I put some place where its hard to get to or a place I don't use often I eat it less. I love sun chips and they have some health benefits but I can't eat one serving unless I put the rest in my basement. I put them in baggies and then in a airtight container next where I usually keep the Christmas stuff.

Do you like any other dried fruits? Or what about an apple or banana? I like the Slim Fast snack bars. Have you tried anything like that? There are lots of variety, and plenty of chocolate ones! Yum!

I think all dried food takes on a different flavor, almost sickenly sweet. In the afternoon when my sweet tooth kicks in I turn to SF/FF french vanilla coffee from International Coffees - it's creamy and has about 35 calories...but I love coffee and creamy drinks so it's a "treat" for me.
On the subject of having someone hold your snacks for safe keeping, I do that with my husband on M&Ms. He likes to have them in the house and I like to have a few, but often that few turns into WAAAAY too many. So, I ask him to give me 5 and he gives me five and I'm happy. I don't know where they are, so it's good. Might work for you.

| You can also buy dried cherries. Or there's always prunes. I don't like them myself, but my husband does. My in-laws really like the dried cherries.

| Have you tried craisins. They are sun dried cranberries that look like raisins. Healthy and naturally sweet. My husband adores them.

| How about granola bars or light yogurt for that sweet tooth ?

...I hate raisins raw out of those little boxes. I don't understand it. I love grapes, LOVE wine, like them enough in a trail mix, but I bought some Sunmaid raisins in little boxes because I thought that they would be a nice little snack for work - sweet to suffice my sweet tooth - but I couldn't palate them. Crazy? I don't know...but I am now in search of something similar that won't go bad and has similar benefits and nutrition. I don't want to do the 100 calorie packs because they tend to be too good and I then can't help myself.

I just thought of something, both a co-worker and my boss are really behind me on this weight loss/get healthy lifestyle change I've made, maybe if I buy the 100 cal packs I can have them "store them for safekeeping" so that I don't eat them all at once. I could have them at a certain time in the afternoon (usually when the sweet tooth kicks in) and then I have something to look forward to. Any thoughts...
