| I would use all meat within 3 days after cooking it or freeze it for later use. When in doubt toss it ! It's not worth it to make yourself sick.

The odor means that it's no longer fresh and beginning to spoil. I don't know if it will make you sick or not, but I wouldn't eat it or serve it to my family.
EDIT: After one or two days in your home fridge, you should really freeze meat (especially poultry) and thaw it later.

i had some chicken in my fridge, i bought it on sunday, i ate some on tuesday night, i put it back in a bad in the fridge and i wanted to throw it all in the slow cooker to make a few meals for work and what not...they don't small BAD, but they don't smell fresh....i looked on some websites and a few ppl say if it doens't smell bad enough that you aren't sure then it would probably be ok...any opinions? i'm going on a road trip and i can't afford to be sick during the long drive....
