Lite99 What's a pumpkin carver? Don't think we have them in the UK. Does it look anything like a potato peeler?

| Ohhh feta, everything is better with feta. I never thought of it with squash though. Now I am going to have to try that.

I prefer the roasting method in the oven someone mentioned before. When you scrape it out, just add fresh pepper, a little chopped mint, and a bit of feta cheese. You'll be glad you did.

My family LOVES spaghetti squash. I typically cook it in the microwave, as suggested below...but cover it with plastic wrap (we use the press & seal kind) b/c it helps to steam it so it's nice and tender, easy to flake out. Our favorite way to eat it is with spaghetti sauce (like it's pasta).

Hi,
A pumpkin carver is a great tool to cut up any hardshell squash.

| I cook it just like L_JOHNSTON, I scrap it out onto a plate and then I put spaghetti sauce and a little parmesan on top, just like I would the pasta:) Enjoy.

| In microwave: cut squash in half, clean out seeds, place shell side up in baking dish with about 1 inch of water. Then cook for approximately 10 minutes depending on size of squash. Squash is done when it comes out like spaghetti if you scrape with a fork.

| You can cut it in half and put it on a baking tray cut sides down. Pop it in the oven for 40 min (approximately depending on the size) at 375 degrees. You can tent it with foil too if you want, this will keep the moisture in almost like steaming it. Then when it is done, you can scrape the flesh off in strands like spaghetti. Hope you like it.
