Thanks Jillian, very useful. That's certainly less calories than my nutrition tracker's been coming up with when I've put the dry weights in instead.

I eat porridge at least once a week. I tend to rely on the site nutritiondata.com
it gives various options, one being cooked oatmeal... which for 1 cup prepared is 147 calories..

The problem is that dry oatmeal and wet porridge weigh different amounts which affects the nutritional values. If no-one's got any data then I'll weigh it out both dry and wet and try to compare them.
Or do you think the 'oatmeal' listed is already made up (i.e. wet)?

| It would be in the Nutrition Tracker under "oatmeal" as that is what it's called in the US. If you make it with milk or other additions, you will probably have to add that as I think it's listed in the tracker as made with water.
