| I've used the frozen before as well, and its gross. I mean, like really really gross. That's one veggie I definitely will only buy fresh.

what you have left over can be put into soup just before serving so as not to cook them more. I have been hearing good things about the ziplock new steam baggies I hear they work well but I have not tryed them

Next time how about buying fresh veggies and steaming them. Sometimes people overcook the frozen varieties of zucchini/squash and turn them into mush. A metal steamer doesn't have to cost alot.

| Did your friend use fresh or frozen? What were you making? I hate the frozen, but use fresh several times each week. Depending on the dish, frozen may just not work well.

Let me begin by saying, I am not a chef!!!!! I can't be creative when cooking.
I bought some frozen zucchini and squash because I love them. So when cooking them today, I prepared them like my friend did. I just knew I would love them because I absolutely loved the ones my friend cooked. Then I tried and they are nasty. Can anyone give me suggestions on how to cook them? Is there anything I can do to salvage what I already cooked? Boy, this is going to be difficult.
