I don't always use teriyaki sauce for stir fries but if I do, I tend to use one from Trader Joe's or the Kikkomon brand. I can't say they are low cal or low sodium but I will say that a little goes a long way- don't drown the veggies or you won't taste anything but the sauce. What I prefer to do is when I'm making the stir fry, I always start with the onion and some garlic then I stir in some finely diced fresh ginger (ginger root is avail in most produce sections - peel and chop), then continue with the other veggies. Ginger gives it great flavor and it's really good for you. Then I top with a tiny bit of soy sauce and use some Sriracha chinese hot sauce (avail in most stores - clear plastic bottle with green top and a big rooster on it) on the plate vs. pouring a sauce over the whole dish. And good for you for trying new things! Stir fries can be as simple as a few veggies, or get more complex.

Hi! I've never made stir fry before and would really like to based on some of the recipies I've seen. Plus its a great way to get my veggies in my diet. What is a good brand? There are so many to choose from! I prefer one that is low cal and/or low sodium... I'm not really interested in making it, just getting one from the store.
Thanks in advance!
