These are some great recipes to try.
I normally just use fat free sour cream and lipton onion or vegetable soup mix. They both taste great with salt free pretzels.

I have a shrimp dip recipe that I love and if you make it with reduced fat ingredients, it isn't as high in calories as many dips. It works well with chips for your guests and veggies. I have it posted and would love to have to rate it if you like it, but here it is:
Reduced Calorie Shrimp Dip Appetizers / Soups / Salads Party Side Dish Submitted by KARLEE2255
Good with veggies or chips. Makes about 50 1-Tablespoon servings. 10 Minutes to Prepare and Cook
Ingredients
1 8-ounce container reduced fat cream cheese 3/4 cup Miracle Whip Light or reduced fat mayonnaise 1/2 cup chopped celery 1/3 cup chopped onion Dash garlic salt 1 6 ounce can shrimp or 6 ounces cooked shrimp Juice of one lemon 1 Tablespoon sugar or Splenda
Directions Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Makes about 50 1-Tablespoon servings. The caloric value is low enough that you can easily have more than one serving.

it took me forever to try this i dont like cream cheese so i figured i wouldnt like the dip, but its awesome!
2 packages of philadelphia light cream cheese 1 can of of crushed pineapple..
leave your cream cheese out of the fridge for a few minutes so it gets really soft, its easier to work with
in a large bowl add one box of cream cheese and the can of pineapple juice and all...mix with a hand mixer until creamy then add the other box of cream cheese...it can sit in the fridge, covered, for a few days and its suppose to be served cold....with pretzels or potato chips..my aunt likes it with the regular nacho cheese doritos

Both of these can be made ahead, refrigerated and then either baked in the oven or microwaved to be served hot. They're okay served cold or at room temperature ... but are soooo much YUMMIER served hot!!!
