I LOVE starfruit. You might not have gotten a completely ripe one. It should have been BRIGHT yellow.
You can wash it and slice it and eat it dipped in non-fat vanilla yogurt. YUM!!!
I don't like papaya or mangoes either.

I, too, tried Starfruit...found it funny tasting, didn't like the consistency, and there wasn't much there once I peeled it. I am always on the lookout for new and different foods to try. Like pluots, and mango....don't like papaya or fennel. Good to keep an open mind about foods and expand the pantry so to speak. Best of luck reaching your goals... ~Tika

| Thank you so much! I had it with my lunch, and won't be doing that again. It has a strange taste; not quite citrus-y, not really sweet but not completely bitter. Oh well, at least I can say I tried it, lol!

| I haven't tried it but I just did a web search and it said you can just wash it and eat it.

| I got a little adventurous in the produce section yesterday, lol. Does anyone know how I eat it? Do I have to peel it or do I just slice it? Thanks in advance!
