I have a recipe on Sparkrecipes called CJ's favorite. You just take the stew meat, season with a little salt and pepper. dump in the Crockpot with cream of mushroom and cream of celery soup and a cup of ginger ale. serve over rice or noodles-we do both.Yummy!!

My hubby loves Smothered Beef and Onions! Just toss the meat in a crock pot with a large chopped onion and a few baby carrots(for color mostly)add a cup of water with a boullion cube dissolved in it and cook all day on low. 15 minutes befor serving add a package of water based brown gravy. Then serve with potatoes/brown rice or w/w noodles. He even likes it on toast. It is so easy and yummy. salt pepper and garlic powder can be added before you cook it also but not necessary.

So we were grocery shopping the other day and they had nice lean beef stew meat on sale. We bought some. I don't want to make beef stew (too hot) or stroganauf (who knows how to spell that). Does anyone have any good suggestions? Will they make decent shish ka bobs if I marinate them? Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks! :-)
