If Spark doesn't have it:
I try the USDA database first for ingredient things (like breads, vegetables, fruits, etc.): http://www.nal.usda.gov/fnic/foodcomp/search/
For more like "recipes", such as fast food, restaurant food, etc. I also like Calorie King.
I also will do an internet search if I can't find it at Spark, USDA, or Calorie King. Just type in the food & "nutrition info" (use the quotes) like this:
avocado & "nutrition info"
and lots of times I can find what I'm looking for that way.
Just FYI if your missing item has more than one word, put that in quotes too, like this:
"japanese eggplant" & "nutrition info"
(I always use the word "info" not "information", because using the word "info" in my search will bring up both "info" and "information".)

I found a terrific website for calorie and nutritional info. Go to: www.calorie-count.com and enjoy!
It's a good site to supplement what you need to enter on SP for your food tracking.

| Depending on what I'm looking for, I'll either look up the brand of food or restaurant website for whatever I need the nutritionals on. If that doesn't get me anywhere, I'll go to calorieking.com - there's a lot of information there, too.
