I do the same thing, using the soft sided cooler. The only down fall is I don't take the container out until the next morning, sometimes on Fridays I forget about it until Monday....ooops!

Rather than using a bag I use one of those insulated "lunch carrier" deals (sort of a soft-sided lunchbox) - this probably helps with the container thing because I have to take the carrier home in order to be able to use it the next day, and I just throw all the containers back in the carrier - no forgetting to take them home :)

I was doing something similar for awhile (until I finally made it to the store the buy baggies).

We have an industrial size roll of aluminum foil (from Sams Club). I was wrapping everything in aluminum foil.

I'd even fold it into bags for pretzels, chips, etc.

Looks good for plastic wrap... I'm always messing it up and having it stick to itself.

Watching me with it, you'd think every time was my first time using it. LOL

What helps me remember to bring home containers is using a small cooler (soft sided) to carry my lunch in.

I eat and place the containers right back in the cooler.

Easy to carry, and big enough to not miss when I leave work for the day.

I finally got it in Bed Bath & Beyond, of course the friend that recommended forgot to tell me that they were only in certain stores. They have a list on the web site at wrapmasterusa.com. I thinkt they also sell in a another place but I can't remember specifically but it's on the web.

I can identify with the not bringing containers home - I'm in the same boat. So where did you get this gadget?

Learning to stop eating on the go and bagging my lunch. Since I always forget to bring my containers home (oops!) I tried something I found recently that's great for bagging and for in the kitchen. It's a funny gadget called WrapMaster. It's a plastic wrap and aluminum foil dispenser. What a great thing. Who knew. So much easier to use the wrap that I got rid of the lunch containers! Try it if you see it. It's well worth the money.
