| Yes! I used to make a batch of dough and divide it into single serving (2 carb exchanges worth) pieces and freeze them. Just bring to room temp, top and bake. Yummy!

we have done it both ways...freezing just the crust and freezing it as a premade pizza. Both ways worked well.
You can freeze a ball of dough, then defrost & let rise or you can freeze a rolled out crust, then pull it out & put toppings on it and return to freezer, when time to bake, don't defrost just throw it in the oven like.
If you don't wanna freeze and then pull it out to top... I have heard you can put the cheese on first, then the sauce and this keeps your dough from getting soggy??? Haven't tried it myself.
You can also make a thin crust pizza to help thin out the carbs. (though for me crust & sauce are my favorite parts) Get more pizza's out of one batch that way.

| Thank you both. I wasn't sure it would work.

Hi, Save yourself some time. Make two pizzas and freeze one.

| Yes pizza dough freezes great. Just make sure the next time you make pizza to take it out of the freezer early in the morning or defrost overnight in the refrigerator so it has time to rise again.

| I made a home made diet style pizza last night using a yeast based crust. It came out so good. Never would have known that was diet. Despite the low fat content, this pizza was still very high in calories because there was only 2 of us eating it and we ate the whole thing (too many carbs from the crust). Next time (and with how good this was, there definitely will be a next time) should I just half the recipe and make a smaller pizza or can I safely just freeze the dough and use it another night?
