The crumble is great for like a chili or something. I invented this dish that probably would sound weird to most but I love it. It's with 1 pack (3 in the box)Bocca crumble. a can of "Chili Ready" Tomatoes and the generic type at Walmart are the BEST! about 1/2 head of cabbage, choppe and whatever veggies you like. So I do choppe onions, garlic, peppers. I sautee them in some water a beef bouilon cube. then add the cabbage and then a can or two of the Tomatoes and any other spices you like. The whole pot of this weird 'gruel' is only 2 points!! (Weight Watchers) that's one glass of skim milk! and it makes a bunch! You can get totally stuffed and feel satisfied for only 2 measly points!

The burgers are absolutley delish (as Rachel Ray would say) :) There is a Portebella Burger out that is really good. I think it is Garden Burger that has put it out but it is different packaging that their normal stuff.

Our household is vegetarian, and for years I didn't buy the 'substitute' products . . . seemed contradictory. Now we get some every week. Much healthier than substituting pasta or potatoes for meat, which probably contributed to my current state.
We like the Boca burgers alright, but also the 'chicken' patties (prefer Boca to Morningstar) and the steak strips and chicken strips (only know about Morningstar for these). Chicken strips make a nice salad, with some mandarin oranges, feta cheese, currants, and a spritzer dressing.
We usually have our Boca burgers without bun, with a nice salad and a veggie. Not very creative, I guess, but easy to do!

| Bocca burgers! yum yum. My favorite way to fix them is saute some onions, green peppers, a couple garlic cloves mashed up, season with some cumin and pepper, a little salt. get some lettuce, dill pickles, tomatoes, mild banana peppers, and a big onion bun. Cook the bocca burger in the onions & stuff, place the bocca burger on the bun, lay everything else on top of the burger.Top it with the lettuce, Tomatoes banana peppers and pickles, VERY CAREFULLY pull the bocca burger out and discard. With all the other stuff on the bun, you'll never miss it anyways. Besides, it gives me heartburn, and the aftertaste wont quit.

| Don't eat them plain, they are kind of weird plain. Chop them up and cook then in "chili ready tomatoes" or "green chili enchilata sauce" Very low point/calorie. Have it in a low carb tortilla. and with the burger, I add so many condiments you can hardly taste the actual Boca burger. I swear 10 years ago I said I would NEVER eat any type of soy product and I really did acquire a taste for them and now I crave them! If you already have a freezer full, just try to 'mix it up' a bit with lots of spices, veggies and condiments!

I actually love the original vegan Boca burger and when fried in a skillet, to me it does tastes like meat. My husband even likes them, he says they remind him of those hamburgers you used to be able to buy from a vending machine! Dog food burger maybe? Don't get me wrong, we are meat eaters, but trying to watch the calories, points and cholestrol and they fit the bill! I agree though, the "veggie" burger types are not like a hamburger, and I like them too, especially cooked like a breaksfast meat and eaten with egg whites and maybe some salsa! So if you guys go to their website you can get coupons for the breakfast wraps. I got 3, but haven't used them yet. One for a FREE box and 2 for $2.00 off! Not bad! Enjoy!

| My fiance and I eat both Bocca burgers and garden burgers. We get an American Style bocca burger that is pretty tasty, like a non-firm burger. I love the garden burgers but they don't taste like burgers. That's the mistake so many people have, it's not going to taste like a meat burger, it's a veggie burger. I consider it a hot veggie sandwich. It was hard for me to find one without bell peppers, but now that I have I enjoy them quite often for lunch! :-)

| They are great. All veggie burgers I have tried are good. Here's an idea. Get whole wheat pita bread. Cut up tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, and put a little garlic in some sour cream. Also crumble some feta cheese. Put these together with the veggie burger on the pita bread. They are called Gyro Burgers. They are great. I highly recommend them.

| I agree--a nice, quick lunch. I vent the individual pack and just throw it in the micro for a minute--slide on a roll and top with ketsup. Th ground Boca is also great for spaghetti, chilli, vegetable soup, stuffed cabbagep--I'll even throw a pack in my meat loaf
|

|
| I love Boca burgers. I've only tried the Original flavor, but they're so convenient! Whenever I'm in a rush, I just throw them on the stove (or a grill, if I have more time) and then wash some lettuce while it cooks. I either eat the burger on a bagel, bread, or whatever. Sometimes, I just wrap it in lettuce if I want to be extra healthy. I usually throw in a slice of FF cheese, maybe some ketchup, and sometimes a tomato (lettuce is a MUST). A low calorie, delicious lunch in less than 10 minutes!

The Boca burgers are tasty, and so are the Morningstar Farms burgers. I can't eat them very frequently, though, because the taste starts to go wrong for me, particularly for the Boca.
I loved those hamburger from high school days and these sort of taste like those. There's even lines on them and a slight smoky flavor.
Really, though, they're tasty.

If you are in Canada, Schneiders makes the "Oh Naturel" brand of burgers that taste amazingly like meat. They also have a smokey flavour like they were on a BBQ and I loved them. My veggie girl didn't like them so much but loves their chicken burgers and chicken nuggets (but with the breading they aren't "light".
Boca burgers I find taste amazing, the roasted onion is my favorite but they are small. Oh Naturel burgers are more like a standard burger and have 200 calories each which is more like a regular burger.
The President's Choice Brands from Superstore are also quite nice for veggie burgers and meatless meatballs. They also have a "light" version of their regular Italian Meatballs.

| Boca, Morningstar Farms, and Gardenburger products are some of my favorites. There are so many varieties out there that you should be able to find something you like. The pizza, philly cheese steak, and cheeseburger ones are good for newbies...I love all of them though! There ground "beef," chicken products, and hot dog/corn dogs are great too. And the breakfast sausages...jeez, you'd think I worked for them. My boyfriend doesn't like them though. He's a huge meat eater and pretty much doesn't care about fat or calories though. He probably eats ground beef almost every day...Anyways, try a couple of the different varieties. Hope you like them!

We love them, that is my daughter, her boyfriend and myself. We really like the chicken patties. I look for sales, frequently I find them for $2.50 per box of 6.
