Breakfast Casserole Ingredients You will need: 5 slices of bread 12 ounces of turkey bacon 1/2 cups cheddar cheese 6 eggs 2 cups milk 1 tablespoon mustard Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 by 13 pan.
Layer Breakfast Casserole Crust The bottom layer of the casserole will be its crust. Bread is often used as the crust, but you can also use hash browns or shredded potatoes as well. I'm putting down 5 slices of bread to cover the pan.
Add Breakfast Meat and Veggies For the next layer, use your favorite breakfast meat. This can be bacon, sausage or ham. Today I'm using 12 ounces of turkey bacon as a healthier substitute. After you fry it, lay it on paper towels to dry and cool. Crumble it over the bread pieces. If you want to add any vegetables, such as cooked broccoli, cooked drained spinach, or sautéed onions, layer it with the meat.
Sprinkle on Cheese Next comes the cheese. Sprinkle your favorite shredded cheese over the meat. I'm using about 1 1/2 cups of cheddar.
Prepare Egg Mixture In a bowl, beat 6 eggs. If you like, you can substitute 3 of the eggs for 6 egg whites. Whisk in 2 cups of milk, and 1 tablespoon of mustard. You can also add salt and pepper now, or let individuals add it to their personal servings. Bake the Breakfast Casserole Pour the egg mixture over the casserole and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

Fage 0% yogurt is available at various groceries nationwide. I always get mine at Trader Joe's. I love the stuff - it is a great replacement for sour cream and can be sweetened as well for an entirely different flavor. It is all of the boards if you search and also a frequent mention on hungry girl.
Hope this helps.

They have a low cal one called Fage 0%. It has only 80 calories and 0 fat grams. It is so creamy and delish. Given the base flavor and low calorie content I use it in place of sour cream, ice cream (splenda added) and a number of other items. Such a good sub.

Hi DRAGONFLYKISSES, The only Fage greek yogurt I found was SUPER high in fat. Do they make a lower fat version? I'd really like to try it.

This morning I made an egg white omelette. I topped it with fage greek yogurt and sliced strawberries. It was delish! Then as sides I used the rest of the fage mixed with blueberries and had a cup of steamed spinach.
So good.
Just wanted to share my low cal (under 200) high nutrient breakfast.
