| I usually put olive oil and garlic in the water that I steam the artichokes in. Then the cooking juice becomes the dipping juice - sometimes with a squeeze of lemon or some red pepper flakes. This is especially good when I've stuffed the artichokes. All the flavors mix together and make their own gravy.

| It is the same idea as butter but how about I can't believe it's not butter spray.

| On today's episode of Quick Fix Meals with Robin Miller, she made a roasted tomato sauce. I'd bet it'd be pretty darned good with artichokes as well. I wish my hubby were more into artichokes and asparagus.

| I usually use roasted garlic minced with olive oil. Heat the oil a little and then drizzle over the artichoke.

not that I know of-how about lemon juice-or is that too bitter. I use the same things you use.

I need some ideas to use in place of mayo or melted butter. Yogurt? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
