| We also feed our kids whatever we are eating. I just cut theirs into smaller pieces. Also remember that it may take several tries before your child is ready to eat a food. My daughter had to taste strawberries like six time before she would actually eat any. Now she gobbles them up. Don't let the fact that they have few teeth stop you. It amazing how well they can gum foods.

| The other night I had veggies, chicken and brown rice. I placed hers in the magic bullet with a lil water and cream of chicken. She tore it up. So I made some more placed in little containers and frozen them for her. I have also given her sweet potatos and turkey breast with green beans. Chicken alfredo. I don’t eat the alfredo sauce but I put it on hers.

Cook whatever low cal dinner you want but be sure to cut up the baby's food really small. Small enough for him to pick up but cooked well enough so he can eat it. I fed my kids whatever I made for breakfast, lunch and dinner and they were fine as long as you cut it up small and do not give him too much at once.
Any type of chicken Any cooked veggies Pasta Fruit / cut up small
***NO SALAD STUFF*** Too hard to chew until he has more teeth Nothing with "skin" like a tomato or grapes
When kids are little ( too little to tell you they don't like it) will eat whatever you give them. My kids are now 17 , 14 and 6 and eat EVERYTHING !
So pick any recipe from sparkrecipes.com and go for it !!

| I am tired of cooking 2 meals for my family to accommodate my 14 months old. Most of the toddler cookbooks I've read said starting at 1 year a child can eat anything we adults eat. I do not think this is true, at least not in my case. My 14 months old does not have back teeth and therefore, he does not chew very well. Serving mashed potatoes and ground beef is getting to be very old for my family. Help! Does anyone have recipes to share?
