Sweetchef - you would have to share those recipes (see previous post on how to add the recipe). Once you have done that, go to sparkrecipes.com and click on the Account Preferences link. Check the box for “Show recipes I’ve Shared (SparkRecipes Profile & SparkPages).” Then save your changes. Your shared recipes should then show up on you sparkpage for others to view and they can save them, which will then go into their recipe box.

Evilmom - you can calculate/add your recipes by going to the sparkrecipes.com section of our site. You can get there by clicking on the healthy lifestyle tab and then click on sparkrecipes.com. You will then need to use the recipe calculator to enter your recipe. Follow ALL the steps there and then if they are not copyrighted recipes, you can leave the box checked to have it in the shared database (if they are copyrighted recipes - DO NOT share them - you will need to UNcheck the box so they will only be listed in your recipe box). Then click the submit button. Once you have submitted them, you can add them to your meal planner when viewing the recipe or anyone else's recipe by clicking on the button to do so.

There is also a serving conversion calculator in our Nutrition Resource Center that will help you convert those measurments.

| How do you add a recipe on to the actual site so that other members may add it as their favorite? I have a couple of people asking me to enter in my blog recipes so they can add them for good. Can anyone help me?

for conversion stuff, I usually use google. For example, the olive oil on SP is only in tablespoons? You'd type into google "1 teaspoon into tablespoons" and it will calculate for you how many teaspoons there are in a tablespoon, so you can enter it more easily. (BTW, there are 3 teaspoons per tablespoon)
As far as adding halves or other fractions, you have to use the decimals.
One and a half cups would be 1.5
2 and a quarter = 2.25
one third of a cup = .33 and two-thirds = .66
etc etc etc

| WHERE CAN I ADD A RECIPE AT I HAVE A FEW AND WOULD LOVE TO ADD SOME??

Maybe I'm just being ridiculous but I am having the hardest time entering a recipe. When I type in the ingredients that are needed I am having a hard time entering the right amount. It already has all this pre saved junk on there and it won't let me enter the right measurement. For example, I was trying to enter olive oil and when I searched for it and pulled it up it would only let me enter it as a tablespoon and not a teaspoon. Also it won't let me enter servings as halves. If this makes sense to anybody please help me out!
