Hi, I was hositalized for anorexia the mid to high stage of organ failure. When I was strong enough to leave (against there will - Christmas was days away) I was assigned a lot of tasks.
1) Eat 3 meals plus 3 snacks a day.
2) Eat things like crackers, toast, or bread with butter and then Peanut Butter on top of that
3) Drink a dietary supplement every day (example ensure
4) Keep up you exercize. I stabalizes weight ( don't know why.
5) Make sure you are still following Canadas or US food guide. See following. I'm sure they are the food guide. You do need your fruits and veggies and protein.
****there were more, if you wish I can look them up for you. (Even after the weight gain continue 3 meals and lower to two snacks.
If possible talk to you dr. or a nutri.tonist/ dietician
I tried to copy the food guide. Just to into google or whatever you use and type Canada's food guide. You will be able to print it there. I do however advise you doctor. Are you going to keep this weight on?

Make sure that you set up your program to gain weight so you have the proper calorie range recommendation. You will want to increase your calories and continue to workout to keep your muscle and not gain fat. Here is an article that may help you increase your calories:
