I guess we need to keep this on top so they can correct this. Almost every recipe I look at does not have a serving size. That should be a given or at least a requirement, especially since we are trying to watch what we eat!

| I agree, not having a sercving size for the recipes is a pain, I usually end up measuring out some of the finished recipes cup by cup and seeing how much I have then dividing it by the number of servings. That's kind of annoying, but I've noticed some of the recipes do have serving sizes on them (thank goodness)

I contacted SP support in late July about the problem and got the following message in reply:
"Thanks for the report. We'll take a look at it."
That was it - never heard anything more from them!

| I totally agree, this is a great site but they left out a very important component and that is serving size. I would like to make double the amount of the recipe for leftovers for my family but I will have to divide it up by 8. That's too much work for me.

I agree.
Today's Recipe of the Day:
Creamy soy Corn Soup states 4 servings. How can that be?
8 cups frozen corn
4 cups vegetable stock
4 cups soy milk
12 oz. firm silken tofu
ETC.
Doesn't add up! That would be great if we could eat that much for only 319 calories!
I've e-mailed Sparkpeople for a correction. Hopefully they'll get back to me or post a correction. I'm going to have a lot of corn in my freezer this year.

| I and a few friends and family members use spark recipes all the time. They are great! Keep them coming!! However, we find it kind of frustrating that it is never clear as to what a serving size is on most of the recipes! I know that there isn't a place to enter that in, perhaps that would be a good idea for Spark to add to the features, but until then if everyone would enter what the serving size is in the description that would be super helpful!!! Instead of seeing that a recipe serves 6 and having to divide it up (I only have a family of 4) before I actually know how big a serving is......just a thought. Does anyone agree?
