Hi everyone
We launched 2 enhancements to SparkRecipes today, both based on member feedback:
1) Advanced Search
- If you run a search on the site, on the search results page you can click the "Advanced Search" link to uncover more search criteria. You used to be able to narror your search by main category, you can also now filter by Ethnicity, Course, Occasion, Dietary Considerations, Prep/Cooking Time, Rating, and whether the recipe has pictures or is Editor's Choice. Click here to see a sample search for "asian chicken recipes that can be made in less than 30 minutes, there should be around 75 results.
2) "I made this" designation when rating recipes
When rating recipes you can now specify if you made a recipe, and also if you would make it again or not. While we encourage people to make a recipe before rating, sometimes members are able to rate a recipe without making it first. This new designation will allow members to further qualify ratings by seeing if the rater made the recipe. Please note that if you've rated recipes in the past and have made them, you can go and edit your rating. To see all your rated recipes you can go to your SparkRecipes.com recipe box.
We hope these enhancements make SparkRecipes an even better tool to find healthy foods and recipes to help you life a healthy lifestyle!
