Thanks for the info! I think it will take a while to get really proficient at this website - there are so many things to look at when you really dig deep.
I have another question I'm wondering if someone out there can help me with. I'm wondering if plain herbal tea can be counted in the 8 suggested glasses of water. If not I'm afraid I will float away!!
Thanks again and happy sparkin' to you all, Liz

To add a food to your food tracker click the botton that says either "add this to food tracker" (in the older recipes) or "add recipe to meal planner" (in the newer SparkRecipes section). Clicking either button will add one serving of the desired recipe to the meal tracker for that day.
Suppose you didn't want it logged in for today, but you wanted it for tomorrow? No problem, it was automatically added to your favorites. Just delete it from today, go to tomorrow's food tracker, and add it there.
If that doesn't sound clear, or if there is an easier way that anyone else is aware of, please let me know!

Maybe you can help me too. I entered a recipe for a beef barley soup I made and calculated the nutrients per serving. I did not save it to be submitted as it is a very ordinary recipe and the site seems to encourage new and unusual things. What I would like to know is if there is a way to transfer a serving of my recipe to my food log. Right now, to enter something I've made and eaten only a portion of, I am guessing how much of each ingredient would be in my portion and entering each food seperately. My internet is on dial-up so this takes about 20 minutes to enter one meal of soup and half a sandwich. I'm brand new to the site - am loving it - and want to fulfill all my obligations. I'm also very new to the world of computers so any help anyone out there can give me would be very much appreciated.
Happy sparking, Liz

| SPAETZLE: Thank you so much. I was on that page before but didn't click on the "calculate" icon...that's why I missed it. Decided to do it this time and it all opened up. Thanks again.

Go to the recipe site, sign in and click on "My Recipe Box" (or something like that). It should be one of the tabs on the upper right-hand side of the page. Fill out all of the information and check a box that says something along the lines of "share my recipe" before you hit submit.
Remember to list your ingredients twice - once just for the nutritional info, and again when you're typing out the instructions. :-)

I have been all over the place looking for the page to submit a recipe. I have searched the recipe site throughout and have yet to find where to submit a recipe. I know I can be easily confused, but this is driving me nuts. Thanks for any help.
