| Yes, applesauce works great! I also use fat-free plain yogurt or pumpkin too.

My friend got this recipe from Weight Watchers.
1-box- German Chocolate Cake Mix 1-can-100% Pumpkin Mix it all together. Yep, that's all you do!
Bake at 350 till done. The time varies due to what size pan you use. But it takes a long time.
She makes mini-muffins that count as 1 point a piece on W.W.'s.
They are delicious! I've made regular sized muffins and even round layered cake with icing ( prior to SP! ).
My DH kept sneeking the little bite size muffins. He...um...spent alot of time in the bathroom because of all the fiber from the pumpkin.

| I have replaced oil with applesauce or even pumpkin works and you get more vitamins w/the pumpkin. Just thought I'd share.

Hi! I'm new here. I've heard of this, but never tried either. Definitely something to use in the future. Good reminder.

| Cakes are more moist as well as tasty, try using applesauce with banana nut bread mix......

I had heard that before, but have never tried it myself. I will try that next time I bake. Do you replace the same measurment? Like if it calls for 2 tbs of oil do you add 2 tbs of applesauce?
Thanks,

| I replace my oil w/applesauce when I cook cakes, etc.. and they still turn out pretty good!!! Plus less calories! Plus my kids can't tell the difference!
