| True enough but 1100 milligrams of sodium seems high for anyone's calorie needs. I guess it could be a cheat meal.

Different people view "healthy" in different ways, and by seeing full nutritional info you can decide if it is healthy for you. Not everyone has the same nutritional needs and not everyone is eating low cal, low carb, etc. This is about a healthy lifestyle, not just a diet so it's okay to have something like this from time to time. Obviously you should keep moderation in mind though. Also, preparing food at home is almost always healthier than eating out, so we like to provide a variety of recipes.

I was wondering if anyone noticed that not all of the recipes on this website are "diet" friendly. IE the mexican casserole @ 380 calories per serving & over 1000 milligrams of sodium?

In order for it to be an editor's choice it will need to be approved, but just to share it, it does not. We look for editor's choice recipes periodically and will use ratings as one of the criteria for making those editor's choice.

Thank you Denise, for some reason I thought it had to be approved or tested to make sure it was healthy.

Does anyone know how long it takes to get a recipe approved and do they contact you either way?
