| I do that all the time. Often ingredients are missing or incorrect in the original anyway--I almost never make a recipe that isn't mine without re-calculating it first, even if I hadn't made any changes.

Thanks for the advice. That's definitely an option, my only problem with it is that I'm only cooking for myself, so I'll be eating portions of the dish all week long and wanting to put them in my nutrition planner. I've found it's a lot easier to just make a recipe then to divide and calculate out everything I put into the recipe and make food groupings from that, if that makes sense?
I think I will just make a new recipe, at this point I've changed the dish enough that it's pretty distinct from the original!

| Why not calculate it out on spark people add a meal and add every thing up or just measure it out and calculate it

I have a recipe I'm going to make, but I'd like to make some substitutions that would affect the nutritional information pretty strongly. Is there any way to take that into account when putting that into my nutrition tracker, or should I just make a new recipe with the changes so I can put it into the tracker?
If substitutions are not an option, I'd like to suggest that they be made one. It would be super handy for people like me who can't stick to a recipe as written!
