Hi: You can also, use the Food Group to make a meal--I make the same receipe over & over--so you put in each item that goes into it/which meal etc & just keep adding until all items are there then save & will ask for a group name put it in--eg spinach Pizza save it and when you make it just click & all the items are listed so you don't have to input time & time again

You can turn off the meal plans and track your own food by doing the following:

We realize not everyone wants to follow a meal plan, so we allow you to find and track nutrition information from our 10,000+ item food database.

1. Click the my Nutrition tab at the top of your Start page.
2. Click "Don't Show Meal Plans" at the top right of the Nutrition Tracker to hide the meal plans.
3. Click the "Add a Food" button.
4. Type the food you want to look for in the box that says “Search for Foods by Name” and select to search “Any of these words” or “All of these words”. Click “Search”.
5. Select the food that you had, or the food that is closest to what you had.
6. Type in your serving size. Note: The down arrow usually has other serving size choices. You can also type in decimals for your serving size. For example, .25, 1.5, etc.
7. Select the meal you would like to add this food to (breakfast, snack, etc.). Select the checkbox to add this food to your Favorites list if you would like to access it quickly in the future.
8. Click "Add Food" at the bottom to add this to your Nutrition Tracker for that day.

If you have a recipe on sparkrecipes.com that you want to add to your food tracker, you can do the following:

1. Find the recipe you want to add to your meal planner.
2. Below the nutritional information is a button to "Add Recipe to Meal Planner."
3. Click on the link that will open a new window for "Add a Food."
4. Select the serving size, which meal to add it to, and check the box if you'd like to save to your favorites for future use.
5. Click on "Add Food to Today" and the recipe will now show up in your tracker.

Hope this helps!

Denise
