Calorie difference from book and SP?

Thanks, Denise, I didn't know that about sharing. I must have not read it when I should have. I checked my entry 3 times and it was all correct.

There is most likely a difference somewhere along one of the items used to calculate it. Some companies change nutrition info over time and sometimes there ma be an incorrect entry in the nutrition tracker. You may want to check to make sure those are accurate for what you used for your recipe.

As for sharing it, when you enter and submit your recipe to the shared database, you are acknowledging that you did not copy the recipe from a book, website, or other copyrighted source. It's fine to have those recipes unshared and in your recipe box only, but not listed in the shared database.

I typed in one of my favorite book's recipes to share with others. In my Everyday Light Meals cookbook the calorie count was 326. When I typed it into Spark Recipes, the calories given was 589!!!!!!
WHY THE HECK SUCH A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!!! Either Spark recipes are way off of the book I've made a lot from is and I really would like to know which!
