I went for a hike today. The trail is considered moderately difficult. I only did part of the trail today since I had to meet a few people. So, I did 4.57 miles in 1 hour and 58 minutes (119 minutes) and the climb (or elevation change) was 872 feet....  Read more

I just went for a 45 minute hike with my kids. there was a lot of hills and uneven terrain. Is that cross country?? I had NO weight on my back (besides a 5 minute piggy back to a 40 pound 3 year old boy :)...  Read more

If I'm jogging up quite a few steep inclines should I classify it as a mileage calculation or as hiking/hill climbing? I ran 3 miles in about 41 minutes, and that's 15 min/mile (which is really slow for me) and I'm upset and want to justify it. haha....  Read more
