Help - Answer

  • I have read and received points for all articles. How can I reset the articles to allow me to receive more points?
If you're having trouble finding new SparkPeople articles that you haven't already earned SparkPoints for reading, you can reset your articles so you can reread (and get SparkPoints for) all articles you read more than six months ago. (You will NOT lose any SparkPoints by resetting your articles, but this will remove the checkmarks showing that you have read these articles.)

Note: This will only allow you to reread articles you read more than 6 months ago; articles you have read less than six months ago will not be reset. Also, you must be a member of SparkPeople for at least 6 months for the Reset Articles section to show up on your account preferences page.

To reset your articles:
  1. Click on “Start” in the top left corner of the screen.
  2. You’ll now see your Start page.
  3. Click on the "Account/E-Mail Preferences" link in the upper left corner of the page.
  4. Scroll down the page to the "Reset SparkPoints" section.
  5. Click on “Reset Articles.”
  6. Click “OK” to confirm that you would like to reset your articles.
  7. You can now read the articles again and get more SparkPoints. Resetting your articles will keep the SparkPoints you earn for previously reading articles. You will lose the icon next to any articles in the Resource Center that have been reset.
