Re; Send your sugar cravings packing - I thought that sweeteners like barley malt are much better since they slowly metabolize vs sugar that rushes through our system like a freight train. I'm confused. Report

Send Your Sugar Cravings Packing was of interest to me. I've read Gary Taubes' "Good Calories Bad Calories" and learned so much about how sugars/refined starches makes us fat, since they spike INSULIN levels and make us crave more. I have to stay away from them since I have Insulin Resistance/Metabolic Syndrome. Dr. Atkins knew what he was talking about on this subject. Report
