Wow, this is possibly the best batch of headlines/articles yet (well, except the awful Hungry Girl stuff). The pesticide one really hit home since I have always been so nervous about the toxicity of the stuff and recently moved into a freshly tented apartment. Also loving the attitude adjustment one. I can relate to nearly every scenario and can see that I am going into negative thinking but never know how to reverse it. And I am all about being active at work. I have a desk job and hate being stuck in a chair all day so I use my 2 fifteen minute breaks for walks. It seems to help my mood and my muscles! - 5/31/2011   12:20:43 AM

Oh my! I just spent about 3 hours reading and exploring some of these sites!!!. Especially - How to make a recipe healthier by fANNEtasticfood.com, Chocolate Craving in 80 calories by Oh She Glows, and the articles on the flea spray, on Betty White, and 9 Attitude adjustments. Now on to 10 pantry staples- I think I have seen this one before though. I have added fannetasticfood.com to my favorites lists. - 5/30/2011   10:37:17 PM

Like a lot of other commenters, I was most struck by the story about the flea pesticides. It's terrifying to think of how many chemicals are out there that cause serious harm -- and even MORE terrifying to think about how powerless we are to do anything about it.

On the lighter side, love the Oh She Glows and Hungry Girl recipes! I see some grilled fruit in my future.... - 5/30/2011   9:44:04 AM

Betty White's dreading aging is interesting. If I had her money and could get cosmetic surgery & all she can do, it wouldn't be such an issue. LOL - 5/29/2011   7:36:39 PM

The article about the women who had her house sprayed for fleas really hit home with me. With 2 cats and 2 dogs I will never use toxic sprays or home foggers again if my pets get fleas! How scary! - 5/29/2011   1:37:04 PM

I like the recipes from Oh She Glows. I've heard of this site before but I didn't know that she was a vegan. I will definitely being using this site and her recipes! - 5/29/2011   12:56:20 PM

As most pet owners, I have had problems with fleas in the house. A friend advised me that table salt kills fleas so we tried it and it works like a charm. We just salt the floors and furniture and vacuum it up after 1-2 days and then re-apply a few days later. Kills fleas with no dangerous chemicals. - 5/29/2011   11:46:17 AM

The article about fleas was scary! I realize pesticides are dangerous, however, with the sudden influx of bedbugs in this country, particularly in the east, mid Atlantic and mid west regions, something is going to have to be found as an alternative to highly toxic pesticides in order to solve this problem. - 5/29/2011   8:40:59 AM
