Oatmeal sounds good. Interested in the diabetes article, but since I'm going to get to my goal weight and stay there, I plan to avoid EVER having diabetes. - 11/9/2010   10:21:50 PM

While I enjoy eating vegetables already I found the article 'Learning to Love Veggies: Readers Weigh-in' interesting. We are thinking about having a child in the near future and veg eating habits was a recent discussion.
The Petite Lasagnas might be fun for when we have appetizer dinner. - 11/9/2010   11:40:48 AM

The baked pear oatmeal sounded great! My kids love Amish Baked Oatmeal, but this will be much better for them. I can't wait to try it! - 11/9/2010   6:45:46 AM

I saw a portion of the Dr. Oz show and the inspector filmed HIS (Dr. Oz's) home - his huge cat leapt on the kitchen counters and dropped his grade. - 11/8/2010   11:51:28 PM

The pumpkin oatmeal should be a keeper. I am so much a fan of oatmeal and to add an even healthier addition of pumpkin, well what can I say...bring on breakfast - 11/8/2010   9:12:09 PM

At the end of the cinnamon sweet potato chick pea salad article she had what sounds like a yummy cookie recipe, and since my cooking club is doing healthy cookies next month for the holidays, I think I just found mine!! - 11/8/2010   10:40:05 AM

The diabetic article was very fascinating. I really think it's cool that they've been developing an automatic insulin pump that can monitor the insulin in your blood. Also, that diagnostic test they talked about can help people get treatment earlier than before, so that's very good. - 11/8/2010   7:24:16 AM

i was surprised to learn about the coconut milk. More surprised to find out that it is sold here in town. I moved from cows milk to soy milk when I became lactose intolerant....then I moved from that to almond milk which I prefer. I plan to try this though. There is always something new to try and it's fun. - 11/7/2010   3:18:48 PM

I was hoping for something really useful in the "keeping fruits and veggies fresh" article. Instead, it said basically to only buy as much as you need and don't hide it where you'll forget about it. Geez. - 11/7/2010   2:36:08 PM

I love the petite lasagna idea! I just cook for myself, and it's hard to find lasagna recipes that aren't made for large families. These would be perfect portion sizes and easy to freeze. - 11/7/2010   1:53:17 PM

I think I'll be making the lasagna onesies too. A double recipe, partly cooked and frozen will be just the thing to prepare for an upcoming potluck. - 11/7/2010   1:51:53 PM
