I loved the website ''What Real Women Look Like.'' There was no entry for my height and weight so I added a picture of my own! - 3/19/2010   5:38:08 PM

The Air Diet: Why Eat When You Can Pretend! - just when you think all the crazy stuff has been thought of, something new!
F.D.A. Cracks Down on Nestlé and Others Over Health Claims on Labels - about time, what takes them so long to do something? If companies don't start policing themselves, labels will have to be preapproved before used.
Afternoon Snack: Microwave Potato Chips - if it wasn't so late, would try making right now using sweet potatoes!
Nine happiness helpers - my favorite. Would like to see SparkPeople explore this farther. - 3/17/2010   3:20:51 AM

I am going to try the microwave chips. That sounds good! Air diet sounds ridiculous. - 3/17/2010   12:33:51 AM

The Air Diet has to be the stupidest thing I have ever heard of! Why not the throw up diet? Oh yeah there is that already and it is called bulimia and you can die from it. So I guess the French want to die for the sake of being thin? Not too smart. - 3/16/2010   7:55:12 PM

I cannot believe people are actually following the air diet. They need to come try SP! - 3/16/2010   7:09:54 PM

The "air diet" is just plain dumb and also a waste of time and food! I enjoyed the nine happiness helpers article and the real women article too. - 3/16/2010   4:14:50 PM

I liked the story on Molly Ringwald; I watch the tv show she is on, The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and I always thought she looked great. She looks like she is a healthy, normal weight. And she is also a good example of a child star who wasn't scarred by Hollywood and now is a happy and successful adult. - 3/16/2010   11:07:07 AM

the air diet....I think that's AKA anorexia. Playing with food and pretending to eat is a classic anorexic behavior. - 3/15/2010   4:17:29 PM

I do like that the more people there are who care about what they are putting into their bodies the more companies are going to have to please the consumer! And the more we are going to demand that their labels are accurate and the foods they make are good for us. - 3/15/2010   12:25:48 PM

My husband and I are "invested" in the gym. This is because if there are daollars invested he is more likely to follow through with a fitness program. Otherwise a good pair of activity appropriate shoes is all you really need if you're hooked into SP - 3/15/2010   12:01:37 PM

    1400 calorie salads?! Yikes! - 3/15/2010   10:40:50 AM

The air diet, really!? I think Molly Ringwald looks great. I was such a fan when I was a teenager. I also like the microwave chips idea. - 3/14/2010   8:18:43 PM

The air diet? LOL. What's next? I might try making my own chips, just not right now--it's not in the plan. - 3/14/2010   5:16:45 PM

I liked the story about these companies making false claims on their labels; also the air diet and the 5-bite diet and microwaved potato chips. - 3/14/2010   3:36:40 PM

Particularly interesting set of articles this week. I found the "Investing in Weight Loss" interesting, but even better were some of the comments at the end of the article from readers. One even mentioned SP!! The microwave potato chips sounded different. I'd try them, but we never have potatoes in the house anymore. Thanks for posting these links each week! - 3/14/2010   2:04:57 PM
