Speed up blow drying and prolong your color and style using these clever tools.

To-'Do List
For brag-worthy blowouts, invest in a heat-protectant spray to prevent static and flyaways, and a fab hair dryer—look on the box for the words "ionic technology" (translation: minimal frizz) and "professional-grade motor," which cuts down on drying time.

Instead of washing and starting from scratch, prolong your style by spraying a dry shampoo onto roots to absorb excess oil.

Extend time between coloring with the newest root touch-ups—the precise applicators make the process quick, clean and foolproof.

"For a quick volume boost, hold hair straight out from your head and point the tip of the dryer—and thus airflow—underneath the section at the roots," says Caile Noble, stylist for Serge Normant at John Frieda in Los Angeles.

I love the WEN conditioning line for hair. I have thin, fine hair and only need to use 4-5 pumps of it. The Sweet Almond Mint, Pumpkin Spice and Cranberry are my favorite ones. I have 7 different bottles in my shower! - 5/30/2012   11:17:47 AM

Ditch the hair dryer and go natural - I wash and condition, then comb out and spray in some leave-in conditioner. My hair is so much healthier since I quit using the hair dryer and other styling products. It also helps my electric bill and the environment. - 5/30/2012   8:41:04 AM

Ojon is what I use. The brand has recently been bought by Estee Lauder so it has expanded, there is something for all hair types. The Instant Restorative Hair Serum is my favorite, my hair glows because of it! - 5/30/2012   5:42:23 AM
Do you know what the best conditioner is ? no chemicals ? extra virgin olive oil. nothing makes your hair feel more silky than letting some extra virgin olive oil sit in your hair for 10-15 minutes. yes, it's a pain to wash out, but my hair feels great afterwards.

Also, an egg wash (just the yoke) works great for cleaning your hair too.
