Congratulations!

If you suffer from tummy troubles, you may have heard that eating yogurt will help get your digestive system back in shape. However, yogurt isn't the answer for everyone. If you are lactose intolerant, vegan, or just don't like the taste of dairy, you could be missing out on some major gut-friendly probiotic cultures. But don't worry! There is another way to treat your belly right without the dairy: Enter GoodBelly, a dairy-free probiotic juice drink that promotes healthy digestion.

Here is what GoodBelly has to say about the product, from their website:

''GoodBelly is a juicy and delicious probiotic drink that contains live & active probiotic cultures. GoodBelly Probiotic Juice Drinks are dairy-free, soy-free and vegan. Just right for those of you who experience digestive upset from these common food sensitivities and anybody who loves the refreshing taste of juice. GoodBelly Probiotic Drinks are available in several great tasting varieties and unique flavor combinations. Here’s a quick look at our products:

  • GoodBelly products contain Lactobacillus plantarum299v (Lp299v), one of the most well studied probiotic cultures available on the market.

  • GoodBelly may promote healthy digestion when consumed daily as a part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.

  • GoodBelly’s probiotic juice drinks are certified organic (with the exception of black currant and coconut water varieties, due to a limited organic supply.)

  • All of our probiotic juice drinks are dairy-free, soy-free, and entirely vegan.

  • GoodBelly’s probiotic drinks come in a medley of original flavors:
    • Pomegranate Blackberry
    • Cranberry Watermelon
    • Mango
    • Blueberry Acai
    • Strawberry
    • Lemon Ginger
    • Vanilla Chamomile
    • Coconut Water
    • Tropical Green''
GoodBelly has also recently come out with two new flavors that are perfect for summer: Tropical Orange and Pink Grapefruit. We tried them and found them to be sweet (but not too sweet!) and flavorful--and we love that they're good for your gut, too.

In the market for a dairy-free stomach soother? Look no farther: we're giving away a free 12-day supply of GoodBelly in your choice of flavor!

To enter, click here! Be sure to read the rules. This contest will end exactly one week from today! Winner will be notified via email.

When I was on antibiotics(several times in the past 6 months) I was told to use probiotics. My probiotic supplements didn't interfere at all with the antibiotics.

These sound like they might be good for anyone who has trouble remembering to take pills, like me lol. Good luck everyone. - 5/29/2012   1:07:25 AM

Hubby drinks them daily. His favorite is Mango, with Blueberry Acai as a close second favorite. - 5/28/2012   7:53:43 PM

Due to my auto-immune disease; I am on a lot of medication. I guess I better check with my doctors, first. This is the first time I, even, heard of probiotics. Just in case they okay it; I did sign up for the 12 day free trial. I just won't use it, if my doctors have any reservations. - 5/27/2012   2:32:19 PM

This sounds absolutely perfect for me!! Being extremely lactose-intolerant, I have a hard time getting things in that I know are important, one of them being probiotics. Only very recently have I started taking probiotic supplements, as I find non-dairy yogurt alternatives to still not sit well with me. These drinks have the right combination that wouldn't upset me in some way! I will definitely be looking for them! - 5/27/2012   11:36:33 AM

The flavors sound delicious and this would be a great alternative to eating yogurt every day. - 5/27/2012   10:09:11 AM

I purchase a bottle of Probiotics at the Health Food store for about two dollars that last for a month, so I'm sure they are much cheaper than buying a product like this. - 5/27/2012   6:38:13 AM

"Fruit juice drink" makes me wonder about the sugar content. A good poke around revealed no nutritional info listed on the web site. Guess I'll try to remember to look for it the next I shop and check the label before trying. - 5/27/2012   1:27:51 AM

    All the flavors sound good!
I would love to give this a try, I have gastroparesis and it's hard to find much variety in food and drinks that my tummy can tolerate. - 5/26/2012   2:43:03 PM

I have tried and it is really hard to find in my small town. I did the 12 day thing after traveling to Ore. from CA. and finding it at Fred Meyer.
    Honestly it didn't do anything for me. :( - 5/26/2012   1:10:58 PM

Luckily I don't have issues w/ dairy and get my probiotics from yogurt, but these sound like a good solution for others...not wild about the amount of added sugar in some of the products, though. - 5/26/2012   9:52:15 AM

No mention in the blog about caloric intake on these, but I checked on their website and calories per 8 oz. glass are about the same as other fruit juices: 70-120 calories per 8 oz. serving. If you click on the "12-day supply of GoodBelly" link in the blog, you can sign up for emailed coupons to try this product.

Blog might also have mentioned that if someone is taking antibiotics, they should be careful about ingesting probiotics which can interfere with the drug.

I've heard both pros and cons about probiotic products. But these all sound good and tasty, and I'm looking forward to trying the pomegranite or blueberry ones first. - 5/26/2012   9:32:04 AM
