Congratulations!

If you've been hanging around SparkPeople for a while, you know that we believe small changes can make a big difference when it comes to healthy living. So it should be no surprise that we love the Fitbit! It's a convenient and discreet device that really motivates you to move more during the day. Many of us on staff have been faithfully wearing it for months now, logging steps and calories while seeing a drastic increase in our daily movement over time. We're so impressed with our own results that we've decided to share the wealth--by giving away a Fitbit One (provided by Fitbit) to FIVE lucky dailySpark readers!

This powerful gadget logs your steps taken, distance traveled, floors climbed, and calories burned, all in a sleek, portable package. You can even track your sleep patterns and use it as a silent, vibrating alarm clock. We also like that you can sync your Fitbit One data wirelessly to your mobile device (and sync wirelessly with SparkPeople's Fitness Tracker). As a bonus, the Fitbit One rewards your efforts with fun badges whenever you reach certain milestones and gives you words of encouragement throughout the day. What's not to love?

The new year is just around the corner, and we know you have a lot of big plans to make 2013 your best, healthiest year yet. And we think a brand new Fitbit One can help you do just that. Consider it our healthy holiday gift to you!

To enter, click here! Don't forget to read the rules. This contest ends one week from today.

How would a Fitbit One help you in your healthy lifestyle journey?

Down to 345 - from a high of over 500! Still not very mobile...just starting to move a bit, I definitely know the FitBit would encourage me to get more movement in my day. SPARK has been my hero. For the last year I have been able to go outside a bit. Hope 2013 is my year to step up, out and Live! - 12/15/2012   7:59:56 AM

I first heard of FITBIT from an earlier blog on SparkPeople. I immediately went to the FITBIT site and read all about them. I have added FITBIT to my wish list on Amazon. The product truly amazes me that it can track so much information! Not only are calories and exercises important to track, but having sleep apnea, the sleep feature would be awesome! And to think that it all links with SparkPeople making tracking so much easier! I have a couple other financial commitments to fulfill first, but it is a product I have been watching for sure! A plus is the discreet size as well. Reliable pedometers with software features are expensive, and bulky. Congrats to the five lucky winners! Be sure to let us know how you like your new FITBIT! - 12/15/2012   6:42:17 AM

Having a fitbit would help me to remain motivated and consistent on my healthy lifestyle journey. When I have had a pedometer that actually works, I always push myself to do more. I decided a couple of months ago to not get another cheap pedometer, but to wait til I could get a fitbit. I would love to have one... - 12/15/2012   1:26:02 AM

Having a One by Fitbit would be a great addition to lifestyle change and exercise regimen, plus the fact that it is syncable to SparkPeople is an awesome feature. Having sleep apnea, the fitbit is also an excellent tracker for quality of sleep . After losing 50 lbs, I believe having a Fitbit would be a boon to becoming more aware of activity and stepping it up! Losing the weight, now it's time to get fit! - 12/14/2012   7:24:06 PM

Even before there was a team and a way to connect the fit bit on the site I had decided if I was going to get a fit bit this is the one I would want to get. I know I won't get it for Christmas as it is more then relatives can afford to spend on me and I can't even afford it myself. I have decide I am fed up with spending money on pedometers that fall off and break or that have buttons that get accidently pressed so you loose what you did on them, and have said that if I spend any more money it would be on this one but when you only work one day a week for only 3 hours that is going to take several paychecks being saved to work on saving enough to purchase it. I really hope I can win one of these so I don't have to save that long. It would be the greatest surpise for me atm. - 12/14/2012   6:18:20 PM

I would love to win a fitbit. I have recently been diagnosed with PCOS and it can be self managed with weight loss. Since this diagnoses I have lost 3lbs but over all I have lost 20lbs in my weight loss journey. I believe a fitbit will continue to help me stay on track. I have many goals for the new year that I am preparing for along with two weddings a traditional Hindu one in India and a Catholic ceremony here in Canada. The fitbit would definitely help me reach my goals and many more. - 12/14/2012   1:39:18 PM

The Fitbit One looks really awesome.. I have the ultra and it keeps shutting down when i work out and I get discouraged. I would love the One, because it is very well made.. I want to challenge myself on a daily basis to get in more steps and try and get over 100% in all the options like climbing stairs, miles, and steps.. I have now lost 75 pounds and still have more to go.. I love to challenge and motivate myself. I am so happy because I can walk now without needing my inhaler. - 12/14/2012   11:54:35 AM

I have had many different types in the past and they all conked out after a certain amount of time....this looks more sturdy and easier to read. I would like one of these to ensure I get the closest to accurate count of my exercise..... - 12/14/2012   11:29:21 AM
