See More: giveaway,
This time of year, my skin begins to slowly dry out. Working out, colder weather and dry air leave my wrists, hips, hands and elbows looking rough and feel dry. I slather on lotion several times a day. And with all the handwashing we all do to keep germs at bay, your skin really takes quite a beating during the colder months.

I know I'm not the only one battling dry skin, so when Vaseline reached out to us to ask if we'd like to offer one of our readers a year's supply of the new Sheer Infusion, along with a $100 gift certificate to SpaFinder.com, we jumped at the chance.

According to Vaseline, the new Sheer Infusion with Stratys-3ô body lotion" is a breakthrough in moisturizing technology that delivers superior moisture across all skinís layers of skin.

"Stratys-3ô, the most powerful, patented moisturizing complex on the market, combines three ingredients that infuse and suspend moisture across the skinís top, core and deep down layers. This results in unprecedented hydration leading to better, more healthy moisturized skin and an unmatched silky skin feel. Clinical studies show that more hydration leads to improved skin softness, smoothness and quicker elimination of dry skin."

The winner will receive a year's supply of the lotion, plus a $100 gift certificate to SpaFinder.com.

To enter, click here! (Be sure to read the terms and conditions, too!) You have between now and 9 a.m. EST on Nov. 9 to enter!

Are you going to enter the contest? Do you battle dry skin when the weather gets cold?

That would be absolutely wonderful. i have a teen daughter who has so much trouble with finding the right kind of lotions. She seems to be allergic to some as they make her hands look sunburned. With all the flu going around, we are all washing our hands more this fall and that really dries them out. Please pick me!! LOL! - 11/4/2009   5:43:21 PM

I am diabetic with terribly dry feet; I've tried it all - expensive products, products that "promise" -- with no success. Finally one day I decided to use my tried-and- true Vaseline, that I have used to remove my make-up for 45 years. What a pleasant surprise (I know, it shouldn't have been) when I woke up the first day and my feet looked beautiful! yippee now I use it EVERYDAY to keep that nasty dryness away. THANK YOU VASELINE. (also a note to all you readers, imitation brands DO NOT WORK!!) Thanks, Jackie O. - 11/3/2009   9:13:28 AM

I Truelly LOVE Vaseline Products and swear by their use/s.
My Mother & I whom she lives with us/me, would LOVE to win this one.
She uses Vaseline Products on her feet, hands and body as well as I do.
DH uses it also. Perfect for keeping the dry itchy skin away at normal
everyday use. DH's hands from working, are so dry they crack at the thumbs
mostly where he needs and uses Vaseline Lotions. Me? It's my back that itches at night, I use it mostly there. Mother age 88, uses it all over, mostly. :) If anyone could do a TRUE HONEST commercial for this Company, IT WOULD BE ME/US. Even if you don't win, Please TRY this product, it is wonderful! - 11/3/2009   9:05:01 AM

Yes, I entered. I've had dry skin all my life, but never more than after going through chemo and radiation for breast cancer. Still taking estrogen suppressant drug, so that might contribute to dry skin, too. Dunno, but welcome any help, especially with winter closing in on me when the "itchies" really bloom! - 11/3/2009   8:52:47 AM

I HAVE ALWAYS SUFFERED WITH DRY SKIN ESPECIALLY IN THE WINTER TIME. iT'S LIKE WHATEVER I USE THE SKIN SEEMS TO ABSORB IT AND DISAPPEAR AS THOUGH IT IS EATING THE LOTIONS UP AND I'M RIGHT BACK WHERE I STARTED, ASHY ALL OVER AGAIN. I STARTED USING MY OWN REMEDY OF ADDING WATER TO VASOLINE MAKING A GLISERIN, IT SEEMS TO WORK BETTER KEEPING MY SKIN SMOOTH AND MOSTURIZED ALL DAY. - 11/3/2009   2:18:24 AM

My skin is very dry since I have eczema. With the handwashing for germs, my hands are especially bad in the winter. At times, even prescription lotions don't really do much. But I am always willing to try a new one in the hopes that it might be the one that finally helps. - 11/2/2009   7:53:39 PM

I do get very dry skin in the winter. My dry skin has come early this year because of all the handwashing I am doing. I will definately try this lotion, I have recently been using Suave Advanced Therapy and have been pleased with it, but I am always open to finding a new good lotion. - 11/2/2009   2:45:15 PM

I battle the most with dry hands because I wash my hands so much and am not a huge fan of the way lotion feels on my hands. But I do put an Olay moisturizer on my body daily (after I shower). It really helps to not ever deal with itchy dry skin. Also taking a bath with oils in the water once every week or too is a nice way to ward off dry skin. I am entering in the contest. Thanks for sharing. - 11/2/2009   2:29:01 PM
