    The chili/soup does sound delicious! I like SENSEIIRENE's idea to replace the sweet potatoes with squash. I always use black beans instead of chili beans/baked beans. - 1/4/2012   11:48:42 AM

    I LOVE butternut squash, and I'm surprised it's not in there. Sweet potatoes are wonderful, too, but I bet the squash would go well in this recipe. I have to try to make this soon - maybe this weekend! LOVE soup in the winter, and it is mighty cold in my neck of the woods today!!
