Music is important to many people. It can pick you up when you're feeling down, motivate you when you need a little push, and inspire you to go the extra mile during a workout. We love to share our favoriate workout music list suggestions here on dailySpark, and we frequently receive requests for Christian exercise music. So I've compiled a list of my top 100 Christian workout songs.

There are many genres of Christian music, and even if you don't consider yourself to be religious or spiritual, you may discover that in addition to "clean lyrics," many of these songs are uplifting and encouraging in both their titles and words, making them motivational for just about anyone.

Listening to uplifting music can help anyone feel better and more positive about life. It can provide motivation to move forward with your healthy lifestyle goals, too. So whether you are feeling depressed, stressed, discouraged, or angry, this list of songs with positive messages can turn your focus back on all that is good in your life.

Great list!! I already have some on my playlist. I know others on here are saying "Why Christian Music", "Why call it this [if you are apart of another religion]", "Some of these songs are slow". If you actually go through these artist library of albums you will fine upbeat christian/gospel/worship music. It's just like any zumba classes or anything similar, your going to have warmup music, cardio music and cool off (slow) music. It's about finding what works for out. I do a mix of Christian/gospel with a little of inspiration music that other non-christian artist that get's me up and moving that pushed me to where I want to go. - 5/19/2014   4:43:41 PM

great list. I have quite a few and listened to others on ITunes. So great to find upbeat Christian music for workouts, my goal is to keep worldly music out of my playlists which can be a challenge especially for workout songs - 12/28/2013   4:19:37 PM

    Great list!! Thanks!

I also really like Building 429's "Where I Belong". Some of it may be a little slow for working out, but the chorus is a good pace and the message is definitely so uplifting! - 11/24/2013   11:25:25 AM

This is great to list the songs like this, but is there a way to print them out? for me, it's easier to have a printed list and then go to iTunes, listen and purchase the tunes.

    thanks - 11/24/2013   10:33:32 AM

While I applaud the intent of this list, it's greatly lacking. These songs may be fine for someone who just walks or does light activity, but for someone like me who trains for half-marathons, these songs are too slow. Though I try to listen to only Christian music, for working out purposes, it's just not possible with mainstream Christian music. I really wish more artists would step up to the plate and make more engaging and lively music as opposed to just the bland music you hear on the radio nowadays. - 8/19/2013   12:43:02 AM

When I click on the Like button for facebook, an ad is in the way so that you have no choice but to click on it, or just forget the "Like". (Can you forward this to the appropriate person?)
EDIT: I see the "like" went through, at least. - 6/2/2013   9:07:45 AM

I have been using Spark People as a motivation tool for a couple of years. I am a life long Methodist. I am disappointed to see that Spark turns out to be identifying itself as a Christian group. Sorry to see this. Not inclusive as an online Org should be in a multi-cultural world. - 5/23/2013   9:58:26 AM
