I'm loving roasted beets in green salads...I have them pre-chopped in the fridge so I can toss them on every day. I have a recipe for a salad with mixed greens, strawberries, bacon, toasted almonds, those little oranges in a can, a dressing made from scratch. It is delicious. I would still eat it occasionally but I need to find a dressing recipe with less sugar. However, Ann Louise Gittleman, in her book, The Fat Flush, she says not to mix fruits with vegetables. I don't have the book with me right now or I'd look it up to tell just why this would be so. But it may only be in one of the phases of the Fat Flush, not for life. I gotta go.
