Lamb leg steaks are a go to treat for me. We are a little spoiled in the UK when it comes to Welsh lamb. It is amazing with mint or olives and rosemary. - 11/12/2017   3:50:32 PM

Lamb is yummy, or not, depending on what it was raised on. The meat flavor is sensitive to what it is allowed to eat. If lamb tastes bad, you might want to find lamb grown locally, and find out what the producer feeds lamb. I've had good results from lamb grown and imported to USA from New Zealand. We frequently fix lamb with sweet fruits and herbs - mints, cinnamon, and cooked with plumbs or apricots etc. (I have cookbooks showing lamb recipes from the Middle East....). - 7/9/2017   2:51:32 AM

Lamb is a fantastic meat, and the flavor is such that you are satisfied with with less, at least I am. So good with garlic, rosemary and lemon, but we have recently had it in the most marvelous Halel Chinese food. Lovely. - 3/29/2011   1:43:29 PM

I don't buy lamb much because it's expensive, but last time I did I made Pastitsio (a Greek dish). Delicious! I like ground lamb; not a big fan of lamb chops.

BTW, gee, could some of you people be more judgemental?! It's fine if you don't eat lamb or meat at all, but hey - some of us do, and that works for us. - 3/24/2011   7:22:48 AM

The best lamb I ever served was a New Zealand leg of lamb. SEARED at 450 degrees then roasted and basted with coffee and cream. I watched our dinner guests pick it CLEAN! Oh it was good. - 3/23/2011   10:44:03 PM

I can't understand how anyone can feel it's good to eat the flesh of any slaughtered animal. The thought of it makes me sick! No wonder the cancer, high blood pressure, strokes and heart attacks are increasing in this country. - 3/23/2011   6:53:28 PM
